The problem
You have no pension and no company 401(k) match. Your income goes up and down. If something happened to you tomorrow, your family would lose your income and could be left with the business debt. Most business owners we talk to say one of these:
"If something happens to me, my family is stuck with the business debt."
"I write a huge check to the IRS every April and have nothing to show for it."
"I lost years of savings in a market crash. I can't afford that again."
"Every agent I meet is selling something. I don't know who to trust."
An IUL (Indexed Universal Life insurance) can solve the first three. Our review and illustration solve the fourth: you see the real numbers, in writing and in plain English, before you decide anything.
What an IUL does for you
A $1,000,000 policy pays your family $1,000,000, generally income-tax-free. That can pay off the house, cover business debt and replace your income.
Part of what you pay goes into a cash value account. It grows without yearly taxes on the gains, which lets more of your money keep working.
Your growth is linked to an index like the S&P 500. In a down year, the interest credited is 0%, never negative. In strong years, gains are capped. Policy charges still come out every month.
Use policy loans for business needs, emergencies or retirement income. No age 59½ rule and, from a properly structured policy, generally no income tax. It is life insurance, not a bank account: loans charge interest and reduce the cash value and death benefit.
With a living benefits rider, you may be able to use part of your death benefit if you are diagnosed with a qualifying chronic, critical or terminal illness. Availability varies by company and state.
Your review and illustration show these benefits in dollars, for your age, your health and your budget.

Your exact premium, based on your age, health and goals.
Shown year by year in your illustration, with guaranteed and projected values.

| At age 65 | Guaranteed | All 0% years | Illustrated at [__]% |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cash value | $[___] | $[___] | $[___] |
| Yearly policy loan income, ages 66 to 85 | $[___] | $[___] | $[___] |
| Death benefit | $[___] | $[___] | $[___] |
Hypothetical and for illustration only, from [carrier] [product] illustration dated [date]. Not a guarantee of future values. Non-guaranteed values are based on current charges and an assumed crediting rate; actual results will vary.
Your numbers depend on your age, health, budget and the policy design. Non-guaranteed values can change. That is why your illustration shows guaranteed and projected values side by side.
Why act now
Life insurance is priced on your age. The same policy costs more next year than it does today.
If your health changes later, it generally does not change the rating you already have. If it changes before you apply, you may pay more or not qualify.
Cash value grows over time. Starting 5 years later means 5 fewer years of tax-deferred growth.
Until a policy is approved and active, your family has no death benefit if something happens to you.
Your life, two ways
Seeing your numbers is free. Waiting is not.

Nothing. The call, the written review, your illustration and the follow-up are free. Keith is paid by the insurance company only if you choose to buy a policy.
Indexed Universal Life is permanent life insurance with a cash value account. Part of each premium pays for the insurance and policy charges. The rest builds cash value that earns interest based on a market index such as the S&P 500, up to a cap, with a 0% floor on the interest credited. It is life insurance first, not an investment account.
A down market year will not produce a negative index credit. But policy charges come out every month, so in years with 0% credits your cash value can go down. Underfunded policies, large loans or stopped premiums can cause a policy to lapse. Your illustration shows how your policy is built to stay on track, and Keith explains every part of it.
It means building cash value inside a permanent life insurance policy that you can borrow against later, on your terms, for business needs, emergencies, a big purchase or retirement income. It is life insurance, not a bank account or a deposit. Policy loans charge interest, reduce the cash value and death benefit, and need to be managed so the policy stays in force. Your review and illustration show exactly how it would work for you.
Cash value grows tax-deferred. Money taken through properly structured policy loans can be income-tax-free while the policy stays in force and is not a Modified Endowment Contract. If the policy lapses with a loan outstanding, taxes can be due. The death benefit is generally income-tax-free to your beneficiaries. Talk with your tax professional about your situation.
Keith will tell you in writing and show you what fits better. For many people that is term life insurance with an option to convert later, and he can help with that too.
It depends on your age, health and coverage amount. Keith checks your likely health rating before any application. If full underwriting isn't a fit, other coverage options may still be available.
Many companies offer express applications that take a few minutes by phone. Some require a medical exam or records. Keith tells you which to expect before you apply.
Keith is appointed with companies including Transamerica, Securian (Minnesota Life), Mutual of Omaha, F&G, Ameritas and American Amicable. The right one depends on your age, health and goals.
In 2 business days you'll know your coverage amount, your monthly cost, and how your cash value could grow, in a personalized illustration explained in simple terms. It's free. The only cost is waiting: a higher price, and a family without protection in the meantime.
